Emma’s Baptism

Over the weekend, we had the pleasure of driving out to Tremonton and seeing our oldest niece (Emma) get baptized.

I will take this opportunity to insert that having a niece this old makes me feel ancient.

Moving on…

Apparently the Meidells aren’t big picture-takers at such events as this because I felt like I was the crazy photographer lady out snapping pictures everywhere.

But I guess that’s what you get for marrying a blogger.

Anyway, the baptismal service was lovely, and I really liked how in this particular ward, the primary organization handed out stationery and pens so that we could write Emma letters while she changed out of her wet clothes.

Pretty awesome idea, I thought.

And of course, what’s a family gathering without a lot of chatting and a lot of food?

Mmm hmm!

(Oh, and can I just say how much fun it is to sit around and listen to the Meidells talk? Hilarious, I tell you.)

Congratulations, Emma! We’re so proud of you!
