*Yesterday was probably the coolest Monday I’ve ever had (at least for a normal Monday anyway). Not only did I get flowers at work from my mom (check out the pictures in my previous post), but I also got the Oprah magazine in the mail (my favorite), $10 in Kohl’s cash, and a $10 rewards Old Navy card. It was like my birthday came two weeks early, and it was AWESOME.
*Out of all the classes I’m taking, the most confusing by far has got to my class on assessment. I find this rather ironic–how is it that the assignments and expectations are the most unclear in a class that’s teaching me how to be good at assessing my students? Am I the only one who sees the irony here?
*I haven’t had time to read (pleasure read, that is) in weeks. I am most defnitely going to fail at my own 50 book challenge. Sad day.
*Remember how I wasn’t going to be quite as rigid in my weight loss goals? Well, it turns out that I wasn’t being rigid enough. So now it’s back to watching my diet again…
*I turn in my student teaching application tomorrow. That is officially weird.
*I also applied for graduation the other day (woo hoo!!)
*I finally got a church calling (an AWESOME church calling), but I can’t say what it is yet. Next Tuesday you’ll all have to remind me to let you know what it is 🙂
*Matt packed me cheese & crackers for part of my lunch today. That just made me happy.
