Dear Mom,
I couldn’t wait a minute longer before writing you a note to thank you for the beautiful flower delivery I got at work today–you know how hard of a time I’ve had with my job, and how many times I’ve wanted to quit. But despite my decision to stay on (for now), I feel so comforted by the fact that I never need to doubt that I have a mother who loves me and always will.
Thank you, Mom, for being my advocate and my defender.
Thank you, Mom, for allowing me to fight my own battles when I need to.
Thank you, Mom, for sharing so much of the widsom you’ve acquired over the years.
Thank you, Mom, for helping me to see the wisdom in my own mistakes and in my own trials.
But more than anything, thank you, Mom, for always loving me and for never leaving me comfortless. I love you so much, and I can never say how much your thoughtfulness today meant to me.
Thank you.
Love,
Torrie
