Well, it finally happened: it only took me seven years and hundreds of hours of reading, writing, studying, not-sleeping, and living on a shoestring budget, but I did it!
I graduated from college.
And I did it summa cum laude.
And I did it debt-free.
Today was a wonderful day of celebration, and I’m so thankful that my mom and stepdad could come up, as well as my sister Sarah and brother-in-law Jared and their cute little family.
It was said many, many times today throughout every single one of the speeches, but it rings true every time: we graduates definitely did not make it to this point alone.
We are here because of the love and support and sacrifices of many people, some known, some not.
And one sweet thing about graduating?
Free Aggie ice cream all around.
Life is good.
And being treated to an amazing lunch at Logan’s best steakhouse didn’t hurt, either.
